Teseo Barcelona personally designs and creates all the jewelry through an artisanal know-how, located in Barcelona.
Our workshop follows a strict control throughout the manufacturing process of each piece to ensure a high level of quality expressing the vision and philosophy of the House of Teseo Barcelona to our customers. For the 18 karat gold plated necklaces, the base metal is 925 silver. The 18 karat gold plated layer has a thickness of 3 to 5 microns depending on the model, which is the highest plating value in the jewelry industry.For silver necklaces, we use 925 silver of the highest quality. Special treatment with rhodium finish for better protection against shine and tarnish.
The details and finishing touches of our necklaces are defined manually and with different types of tools, as well as the corresponding textures and polishing.
The precious metals used are certified to be from origins free from illegal exploitation and war zones.

We create a wax prototype with 3D printing

The 3D printing wax is melted into the desired metal
STEP 5: TEXTURING AND POLISHING
The details and final touches are defined manually and with different types of tools, as well as the corresponding textures and polishing.
STEP 6: QUALITY CONTROL
Each part must be individually approved by our quality control team.
925 SILVER
925 silver, also known as “925 sterling silver” is composed of 92.5% silver and the rest copper. Silver must be combined with other metals, such as copper or brass, in order to be able to work the material more easily and make beautiful creations.
Pure silver is not susceptible to tarnishing. However, the copper in 925 silver can react with ozone and hydrogen sulfide in the air and tarnish the silver in your jewelry. There are several ways to care for your jewelry to maintain its luster.
Here are our tips:
Wear your 925 silver jewelry daily. The oils in your skin will “clean” the sterling silver every time you wear it.
Remove your jewelry when working out, swimming in the pool or doing strenuous activities. Sweating can cause your jewelry to tarnish.
Another way is to place your jewelry in an airtight container, with an anti-tarnish band to absorb moisture (N.B. anti-tarnish bands are available on Amazon).
18K GOLD PLATED
Gold plating is a process where a layer of gold will coat the surface of another metal. Since our jewelry is not 100% gold, gold plating will eventually tarnish over time. There are several ways to care for your jewelry to maintain the shine of the gold.
Here are our tips:
Don’t spray perfume on your gold-plated jewelry.
Wait until your lotion or cream is dry or absorbed into your skin before wearing your gold-plated jewelry.
Remove your jewelry when working out, swimming in a pool or doing strenuous activities. Sweating can cause your jewelry to tarnish.
Do not allow your jewelry to come into contact with the following substances:
Oil, nail polish, nail polish remover, chlorine
Clean your plated jewelry daily or with a soft cotton cloth to maintain its shine.
Attention: “polishing cloth” is forbidden.
If your jewelry needs more cleaning, you can clean it by leaving it for a few minutes in hot soapy water and then cleaning it with a soft cotton cloth. Be careful not to use antibacterial soap.
To avoid scratches, keep your jewelry in its case.
